4-Year Program. The 4-year Army ROTC program is made up of a basic course and an advanced course. Basic Course. The basic course is taken during the first 2 years of college. It covers subjects such as organizational behavior, leadership, management, ethics, writing, public speaking, military affairs, and tactics.

A variety of scholarships are offered from Army ROTC and the Kansas National Guard. Scholarships pay 100 percent tuition and fees, or a $5,000 housing stipend per semester.By.
