It being a hybrid does not have anything to do with road noise. At highway speeds, the hybrids are running off the gas engine. So basically the hybrid bits are barely used. One reason we traded pretty quickly out of our 2017 CRV was how loud the interior was. Ended up in an RDX which is CRV sized but much nicer inside.Honda claims its both somehow smoother and sportier. Chassis is 15% stiffer. AWD can now send a full 50/50 split. The turbo model gets power earlier too. The hybrid model actually loses some horsepower, its 204HP now, 2022 model was 212HP. One thing I'm hoping is if they worked on reducing road noise more.
