The original author of this thread fails to mention the biggest advantage of exodia contagion which is already posted and obvious in wiki pages. Exodia contagion does 5x viral dmg so using a plagued strike and moding for pure viral will get you in the million+ damage range especially after 30m of flight.
Very big yes on this. Even outside of Contagion, suddenly being forced into Aim Glide is rarely what you'd want. Or at the very least, make Contagion require an actual, manual Aim / Block, rather than having the auto-block be able to trigger it. Well, it was fun, but Exodia Contagion is now irrelevant because of the melee changes. You can no long do heavy attacks with it. Only light attacks. For it to be practical in sp, it pretty much needed that major increase in damage. Hopefully, it gets reverted back into the game, but knowing DE, I have doubts.

Why is this so much more powerful when it's on a dagger? I mean covert lethality doesn't add a huge amount of damage to the base stats of a weapon, but when I try this combo I suddenly have a hand held nuke.
