This is the Thieves Guild quest where you have to find and stop/kill Mercer Frey, while retrieving the Skeleton Key, Falmer Eyes, and escape a flood of rushing water with your two companions: Karliah and Brynjolf.Thanks for the advice, I actually found a way to get around it. I started the dark brotherhood quest (helped out Aventus kill Grelod, then waited 24 hours) and then found a pile of hay inside Irkngthand to sleep on.
