First thing you should have checked is the valve in front and under the seat that controls the drop rate of the 3 PH. If it gets closed off accidently, the 3 PH arms wont raise or lower. There is a rod attached to it with a linkage to the 3 point lift arm. It looks like a stop for when it lifts all the way up. the linkage isn't limiting movement of the control lever in anyway. It is hard to see if it is missing because the pin fits in to a horizontal hole. If the pin is in place you can see the ends of it sticking out.

The 3 pt hitch lever wont stay up without using something to hold it in place. I use a bungee cord. It moves the hitch up and down fine but will not stay up. The strainer was very dirty. It looked like it was plugged up. The transmission seems to work better now, but the up/down lever for the 3 point hitch does not work now. The lever moves freely, but the hydraulics do not move. The B2650 does not have that type of 3-pt -- it has position control. The knob between the seat controls rate of descent, and has nothing to do with the 1/4 - incher valve.
