Took it to the dealership, and they say that they believe it's lifters and rockers. This is my first jeep, and got it new for the wife when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.I took to mechanic changed both fuse boxes first (had a battery issue and wiper). Mechanic switched the coils? still misfire. They then changes all the spark plugs (needed new regardless) 145k miles on truck. Still p303 cylinder 2 misfire and rough idle. Also had p104D valve stuck in high lift and p0456. Its been about 10 days now and the code came back. Its not idling rough very often, and it wasn't really idling rough when the CEL came up. This time the CEL was P0300-Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire.Ohm'd out the injector plugs and cylinders 1,3,4 and they are around 3.5, cylinder 2 is around 3.9... Cylinder 2 voltage is at 13.5 volts, it goes to 13.5 volts through both wires when connected ... Cut the injector plug for cylinder 2 and directly connected the wires to the injector, still no change. I took it back to the dealer because I knew the possibility of major problems receiving that code and it is still covered under the power train warranty.
