I'm not an expert on tuning by any means, but from what I understand- on the LML it uses the fuel temp sensor to 'fool' the parameters and change the fueling tables. I personally have no experience myself but he swears by their tuning. He had Innovative Diesel Performance tuning on his 2011 and says the 2017 tunes are much smoother. Don't want to drag race but would like a quicker off the line truck. I would highly recommend 5 star tuning, DP Tuner, or Proven Diesel tunes. I had a terrible experiance with 5 star.
