Jul 13, 2016 · Intro to MPI programming in C++. MPI is the Message Passing Interface, a standard and series of libraries for writing parallel programs to run on distributed memory computing systems. Distributed memory systems are essentially a series of network computers, or compute nodes, each with their own processors and memory. It is implemented on top of the MPI specification and exposes an API which grounds on the standard MPI-2 C++ bindings. Prerequisites. Python 3.6 or above, or PyPy 7.2 or above.
