i did most of this on a pre hardmode character with duped sticky dynamite, but i did have a friend with a DCU help me for most of it, then, towards the end, i hopped on my endgame character with the DCU to finish the job. in total, this took me around 7 hours to doI went the long way about building a decent lava fishing spot; I built a hellevator, put on climbing claws, put a rubber band on my mouse, and let my character wire all the way to the underworld, where I now drain lava lakes into a holding tank right under my base (it’s pretty cool, I have a vault with platinum coins in the center and several levers on the wall near it.
