The noise is the whole point, and the louder the better. A shotgun kills zombies faster than anything else, and even attracts more zombies to kill. I want to restart right where I left off. Some crumby zombie whose on the floor and I can't hit it on the floor because the movement keys suck and the ♥♥♥♥ ... It's as difficult as you want it to be. The sandbox settings are extensive. You can make zombies weak, shut off respawns, and just focus on building/hoarding if you like. the game is intentionally pretty difficult but build 40 is a lot easier than build 41 and you can always tweak the settings.But the M16 was straight up obnoxious. Maybe I got some bad RNG, because with level 8 shooting I should only be losing durability roughly every 76 shots. But I definitely lost 10 to 12 durability in 150 to 180 shots. Unless there’s a hidden durability loss multiplier for full auto, the durability for M16’s is whacky.
