Filson journeyman backpack review
Saw this in the Seattle Filson store in August, tried it on, and decided to give it a try. Turns out it's a great backpack, much better than the older Filson rucksack I used to own. The rucksack worked fine with light loads, but when loaded with camera gear it was quite heavy and the leather straps dug into my shoulders. PROS: 1) Design: The design of the backpack is great for blending in at the office, in the classroom, and as a bag for EDC while you're traveling or exploring your own town/city. 2) Material: Filson uses great material when they make their products. It's well-made. As is such with all Filson products, the Dryden Backpack feels incredibly well-made. The bottom is double reinforced with additional fabric; the coil zippers are so sturdy they can be hard to open; the bridle leather accents feel cemented on and like they'll age gracefully with constant exposure to the elements.
