Try spacing better if ur not doing this, it increases the damage a bit. (Same goes for the R1 WA.) For me in PVE it feels ok and kills pretty quick, only imo it's a bit difficult to use in pvp against hyper armor and magic users.

However, its two-handed attacks are definitely much more restricted to punishing than the other scythe's two-handed attacks. For me, the scythes are really punishment-based weapons. Maybe that's with most of the combat in DS3, I dunno, but I do notice that the main counter to scythes are the things that can poke without significant penalty. If you want, i can drop you a friedes scythe lvl1. That way you can enjoy your playthough with the weapon of choice from the very beginning instead of the very end and without having to go though the DLC as lvl1. To answer your question: lvl80-120 is a good range for the first DLC. Edit: I'm on PC.
