There is very little benefit to using silent gear, especially on a pickaxe. You can get max speed on an ATM pickaxe w/ enchants and apotheosis, easily enough. Going through any extra hassle isn't worth it, imo. You can get ATM in less than half an hour from starting, if you really wanted to. Even on other gear, it's not really worth it.

That's currently the only method I know of without looking at the full mod list. There is a life mending enchant through apotheosis, and I can’t vouch but I believe through silent gear there are repair kits.
