Chevy silverado radio volume not working.
Have a 07 silverado with factory radio and cd player. Radio works and then does not work. Or I should say it works but at a very low volume level and only through the roof post speakers. Also noticed that when the radio is haveing this issue the open door chimes also are very weak or do not work. Then it may come on and everything works.

18 posts · Joined 2020. #32 · Dec 10, 2020. I've finally gotten mine fixed. After several reprogramming attempts and software upgrades, wiring harness cleanings, ground wire checks, 2 new radios and one new touch screen, it wasn't actually either, It was called a Low voltage cable.

The truck does not chime of the key is in ignition and the door or open. I know the door switch works as the lights turn on/off as they should. Just the chime doesn't sound.
