Feb 26, 2015 · Olympic Arms brought back the 1950's Whitney Wolverine, albeit in polymer, about a decade ago. However, I hadn't seen one in person so we got a tour at #SHOT... This has the "two-tone" look on the barrel where the black frame sweeps up. Bore is nice and shiny. Everything works. Has some handling dings and scratches that are cosmetic in nature. Comes with one original mag. Serial number is 351xx.This is an example of an extremely early Wolverine as it is serial number 006. Whitney Firearms Co. manufactured nearly 14,000 of these pistols from 1955 to 1962. It's built on an aluminum alloy frame with white checkered grips and detachable 10 round magazine. The serial number is marked vertically on the front grip strap.
