Simplisafe keypad not working.
I changed the batteries (they were put in correctly) and the Key Pad still does not work. During the update the "off" "home" and "away" buttons all lit up in order one at a time from left to right (off,home,away) and then the keypad stopped working. The system can still be operated from our telephones but the Key Pad will not even turn on.

Power saver is turned on to no avail. Tech rep told me today that I should move the keypad away from any light switches as they can interfere with the keypad. Tech rep says the keypad activates when motion is sensed near the keypad. No motion in the bedroom when sleeping! Gonna demand replacement if the keypad move does not work.
Old alarm system wiring can act like an antenna, picking up EMI signals and causing the keypad to light up. Having a second keypad that is not having a problem is not saying the old wiring is fine since wiring does weird things depending on the way it is stuffed back in the wall, etc.
