This is a stock new rebuilt 350, stock cam, Edlebrock 2101, rochester q-jet. Unplugged my vacuum advance and plugged the vacuum port on the carb and then set the initial timing to 6 degrees advanced at 600rpms. I then removed the plug from the port on the carb and plugged in my vacuum gauge. in park, at 600rmps the engine pulls 15"The ports on the TBI unit are labeled with leters which I will reference here. back of TBI unit: port F goes to the MAP. front of TBI unit: port J goes to EGR. port C goes to PCV. port A goes to charcoal. port B goes to aircleaner. -1971 FJ55 (aka Trail55): 6.0L-NV4500-LC split case, SOA, D60s, ARB'd... and cupholders :flipoff2:

The underhood end should mount to a factory installed nipple on the rear of the intake manifold with another piece of rubber vacuum hose. If there is no nipple then plug it into the rear of the carb. If the steel line is missing, then get a piece of brake line and use it. You can easily return it to the way it should be but there may be a reason it was done.
