Yeah actually, it was an issue with cpu cores affinity. For streaming purposes, I lock a core exclusively for audio processing and it seems BG3 doesnt like it. I suspect they mixed "total cores" and "available cores" somewhere in their code. Long story short, authorizing BG3 to use all the cores made it for me. But my problem was very specific.This workaround to prevent your game from crashing may be an inconvenience, but given how addicting Baldur's Gate 3 can be, it's worth it. What players must do is disconnect their PS5 from the internet. If they plan to play BG3 multiplayer this method won't work, but for those who wish to play single-player, it works swimmingly.

A temporary fix for this without restarting the game: Options, Disconnect, select Yes, reconnect by pressing X. This usually resolves it, but if not, do the aforementioned steps, then: Press L2, select your character, then press L3 to “Move to”, then cancel that action by pressing circle.
