You may have to lift the slide catch to rotate the TDL to 7 o'clock. When the TDL is rotated to 7 o'clock, the takedown safety lever is moved rearward, which lowers the sear, so the slide can be removed. Your sear is in the normal position and not lowered, causing interference with the slide.
