Jun 4, 2019 · I found a couple of posts where people complained that they got P0340 codes when the weather turned cold. I brought both CPS's into the house and warmed them up. Installed them back in the Jeep and both worked perfectly. Jeep started right up and no CEL. At this point, I went to NAPA and purchased a CPS.

My jeep (2000 JGC, 4.0L) stalled and wouldn't start, I got the P0340, P0351, P0352, P0353 diagnostic codes using the "key dance". I changed the cam and crank position sensors and the coil rail with no luck. An outdated ECM software. A faulty ECM. A damaged Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
