Stamina lets it fly for longer (lvl 20s will fly for a very short time before tiring) and since pteranodon weight is still pretty bad on a perfect 150 tame (level 224) you definitely want some levels in weight. If you're going to use it, plan your flight route carefully and don't carry any unwanted materials because they will slow it down.If i might add, taming your first ptera wont be taming ur last ptera, try aiming for a level 80 dino and feed it whatever you have just for the time being. You can use it to scout for and tame dodos as previously said, then get another higher level ptera from the opposite sex and tame it using kibble.
