Hi, New to this forum. Currently driving E320 4Matic Wagon. One of stay-away factors for Outback was lack of space on rear seat area. Finally, Generation 4 models have more space on rear seats than before, I will definitely switch to Outback soon. Reading some threads, I noticed that 2.5 has better gas mileage but not much power.Has anyone traded up from a late 5th Gen to 6th Gen? Was it it worth the expense? If you had a Limited XT, did you also consider the Touring XT? I preferred the handling of the Gen 5 Outback compared to the Forester. But the Gen 5 Outback was noticeably lower powered feeling than the Forester. I came very close to choosing the Forester. But the Gen 6 came in a week later and I took that for a test drive. The improvements were very noticeable.
