The girls state tennis championships were held October 15-16. 6A was held in Wichita along with 1A-3A. 5A was held in Emporia while 4A was held in Winfield. This year’s state championship was filled with plenty of storylines. Shawnee Mission East claimed its third straight team title in 6A with 49 total points.
