Xfinity cable box not turning on
Sep 2, 2020 · user_f9ad98. Just had Xfinity tech solve problem. My new Sony TV has a power setting that can use "screen saver" or "last input" as a choice on TV turn on. Changed to "last input" and now tv works ok. This has been happening for the past 5 or 6 days. I always turn my TV on and off using the TV remote (Samsung Series 6). I powered off and on again. 2. When powering off the Flex box, I also unplugged the HDMI cable. After doing these things, I powered the Flex back on, while the Flex was showing the initial Welcome screen, take a battery out of the remote and put it right back, press Voice button numerous times, and I finally got to the next setup menu.
