Aug 21, 2007 · Now we have a new receiver and it has the latest software on it and Dish-anywhere does not work. After half an hour on the phone with tech support I was told that there is a problem with all laptop access to Dish-anywhere and a fix was expected by December 3rd, so we won't have it for out vacation. After 10 seconds or so it says connection failed. A few times it started playing something only to quickly freeze up and then go to a black screen or say connection failed again. The Hopper is connected to my router via ethernet cable. I get consistent speeds using ethernet around 215mbps download and 30mbps upload.
