I did google the problem previously and found a temporary fix. If it happens, you click the button on the shifter about 4 times if I recall correctly. The key is then released.If the wheels are turned and the steering wheel is under tension the key will not come out. Apply a little tension either tight or left and the key will come out. Sometimes we do not realize we have "unloaded" the tension on the wheel while we are fighting with the right hand and using the left hand for leverage on the steering wheel. My exwife ...
