New member. I've got a brand new predator 212cc engine that I put into a bike frame that won't run. The modifications I've made include upgraded jets, a pod filter, and exhaust header. I made these mods before I first started the engine. If I spray starting fluid right down the intake the engine will start, rev high and then immediately stall out.Apr 4, 2012 · It starts right up, and idles pretty smooth, but whenever i hit the throttle in the slightest it dies. When i take the fuel line off to the carb and crank it, fuel comes out, just im not sure if its enough.1. drained gas, blew out lines, verified vent cap to be open, refilled with fresh gas--same thing starts on choke, then dies. 2. removed gas line from carb and verifed fuel pump was sending gas also replaced fuel filter--sends gas same results. 3. removed carb, cleaned out with carb cleaner and blew clean, reinstalled same results.
